Catching up

So this post was supposed to be on my previous blog, before I deleted it. So it is a little late. But anyways, November was my birthday month. Rose took me to see the Chippendale's show at TI. It was pretty fun. I don't know if it was as good as last time, but the guys were pretty hot. They came out into the crowd a lot more than I remember. We had a lot of fun.

The girls we went with were friends of Rose's from work.

After the show we went to Throwback's for the Dueling Pianos. It was so much fun. The guys were so funny.

November 9th was the Vikings-Packers game. It was our wedding gift from Jason. Of course we went decked out in our garb. It was pretty damn cold outside but we had fun. Thanks Jason!

Lizzi and I tried to stay warm drinking hot apple cider and sitting by the grill.

Mmmm... I love hot dogs at 9:00 in the morning.

Action shots of Lizzi throwing the ball around.

This is how I kept warm.

It was actually a pretty good game. I thought the Packers were going to win, but the good ol' Vikes beat us. Bummer.

November 18th was my 25th birthday! A quarter of a century. Wow! Everyone keeps saying "Oh my God, 25! I'm so old!" I just don't get it. I feel like my life is just beginning.
Anyways, we went to Moose Country on my birthday night. Since it was on Birthday Tuesday, I got my free mug.

Yummy. Although I didn't even get to finish one mug full because our friend Nick kept buying me shots.

This one was something about an alligator. I dont know. All I know is it had Apple Pucker in it and I wasn't excited about that.
It turned out to be okay though.

Gotta have a lemon drop.

This one I thought was going to be the worst one of the night. Nick called it Up a Creek Without a Paddle. (It was water...jerk!)

I don't remember what this one was called, but I know it had Kahlua or something creamy, and then a root beer chaser. It was actually not bad.

Malibu! It's in a coconut.

My baby, Daisy.

Here's Cory the night before his surgery. He had back surgery on November 20th to repair a bulging disc. They nicked the sac that holds the spinal fluid so they had to put a lumbar drain in and he had to stay flat in bed for 3 days. It was miserable. Finally on the 5th day he got to come home.

Cory was in pretty rough shape for a while after being in the hospital for five days. Daisy took good care of him though. She missed us so much during that hospital stay. She stayed at Grandma's house for the week.

Here's the damage. It looks like nothing. It's a 2 inch incision on his lower back. Small but painful.

Weirdo dog. She's so cute!
